Personal Information
You can visit our website without providing any personal details or leaving personal data. However, there may be instances where we require information from you, such as your name and email address, for certain purposes. If you choose to provide personal information that we need, for example, to communicate with you, we hereby clarify how this information will be used as much as possible. Should you indicate that the information should not be used for these purposes, we will, of course, respect this decision.

Purposes of Data Processing

Newsletter
We offer a newsletter in which we inform interested parties about our services. By completing the registration form, you agree to have your data included in our subscriber database. Each newsletter contains a link through which you can unsubscribe. The newsletter subscriber list is not shared with third parties.

Website Usage
We use Google Analytics to optimise the layout and content of our website and Adwords advertisements. The information collected is transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. For further information, please refer to Google’s privacy policy and the specific Google Analytics privacy policy.
Google uses this information to evaluate your use of our website, to provide us with reports on website activity, and to offer advertisers information on the effectiveness of their campaigns. Google may share this information with third parties if legally required or if these third parties process the information on Google’s behalf. We have no influence over this. We have not authorised Google to use the analytics data collected for other Google services.

Google Analytics 4
If you have provided your consent, Google Analytics 4 is used on this website, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC. For users in the EU/EEA and Switzerland, the data controller is Google Ireland Limited, Google Building Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland ("Google").

Type and Purpose of Processing
Google Analytics uses cookies to analyse your use of our websites. The information collected by these cookies about your use of this website is generally transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
We use the User-ID function, which allows us to assign a unique, persistent ID to one or more sessions (and activities within those sessions) and analyse user behaviour across devices.
We also use Google Signals, which allows Google Analytics to collect additional data from users who have enabled personalised ads (interests and demographic data), and ads can be delivered to these users in cross-device remarketing campaigns.

In Google Analytics 4, IP anonymisation is enabled by default. Due to IP anonymisation, your IP address is truncated by Google within the member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. According to Google, the IP address transmitted by your browser in the context of Google Analytics is not combined with other Google data.
During your website visit, your user behaviour is captured as "events".

Events may include:

  • Page views

  • First visit to the website

  • Start of session

  • Visited webpages

  • Your "click path", interaction with the website

  • Scrolls (each time a user scrolls to the bottom of the page (90%))

  • Clicks on external links

  • Internal searches

  • Interaction with videos

  • File downloads

  • Viewed/clicked ads

  • Language setting

Additionally, the following is recorded:

  • Your approximate location (region)

  • Date and time of visit

  • Your IP address (in truncated form)

  • Technical information about your browser and devices used (e.g., language setting, screen resolution)

  • Your internet provider

  • The referrer URL (the website/advertising medium that brought you to this website)

Purposes of Processing
On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, compile reports on website activities, and provide the website operator with further services related to website usage and internet usage. The reports provided by Google Analytics are used to analyse the performance of our website and the success of our marketing campaigns.

Recipients
Recipients of the data may include:

  • Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (as a processor under Art. 28 GDPR)

  • Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA

  • Alphabet Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA

Transfer to Third Countries
For the USA, the European Commission adopted its adequacy decision on 10 July 2023. Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Privacy Framework. As Google servers are distributed worldwide, and a transfer to third countries (such as Singapore) cannot be entirely ruled out, we have also concluded the EU Standard Contractual Clauses with the provider.

Retention Period
The data we send and which are linked to cookies will be automatically deleted after 2 months. The maximum lifetime of Google Analytics cookies is 2 years. Data whose retention period has been reached is automatically deleted once a month.

Legal Basis
The legal basis for this data processing is your consent according to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a GDPR and § 25 para. 1 sentence 1 TTDSG.

Withdrawal
You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future by accessing the cookie settings and changing your selection. The lawfulness of the processing carried out based on the consent up until the withdrawal remains unaffected. You can also prevent the storage of cookies by configuring your browser software accordingly. However, if you configure your browser to reject all cookies, some functionalities of this and other websites may be restricted. Furthermore, you can prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie related to your use of the website (including your IP address) to Google and the processing of this data by Google by not consenting to the setting of the cookie or downloading and installing the browser add-on to disable Google Analytics.

We do not retain your data for longer than 26 months or for longer than necessary for the purposes stated in this privacy policy.
